Edit your user profile settings

Change your user account to use a different language, time zone and more

You can manage and update language, time zone, notification, and keyboard shortcuts settings from your user profile.

To edit your user profile

  1. Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
  2. Click the More menuMore and then Settings.
  3. Make changes to your user settings.

  4. Click Save.

Unless you're an administrator, you can't change your user role. Users with admin access can make the changes for other users. Learn how to edit user profiles.

About notification settings
If you're in Austria, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, Norway, or Switzerland, you must confirm the following notification settings via an email you'll receive after turning them on:

  • "Optimization tips, best practices and other relevant information"
  • "Be invited to opportunities to share feedback and participate in market research to help improve Ad Manager"

Change your language

Your display language in Ad Manager is determined by your Google Account settings, not settings from your user profile. Learn more about how to change your display language.

Change your time zone to match your location

Opt-in feature

This feature can optionally be enabled in your Ad Manager network by an Ad Manager administrator. If you're not sure it's enabled, talk to your administrator. If you're an administrator, learn how you can opt into features for your network.

You can change your time zone to match your location. When you do, the displayed times throughout the trafficking sections of Ad Manager will be adjusted to match the time in the location you've set. Keep in mind that this setting affects how dates and times are displayed in Ad Manager, not how ads are served to viewers. If you don’t set a time zone, the local time set for the network is used.

For example, your network time zone is "America/New York", but you’ve set your time zone as "Europe/Paris". A trafficker in New York creates a line item and sets it to begin at 9 am on January 15. When you view the same line item, you’ll see the start time as 3 pm on January 15.

Time zones in reporting

Time zones in reporting are not affected. They’re still based on the network time zone. Additionally, any other location throughout Ad Manager where a time is displayed without a time zone label, it’s the network time zone, not your individual time zone.

Daylight saving time

Time zone settings take daylight saving time into account. If your time zone uses daylight saving time, Ad Manager will adjust the time zone label to show the appropriate time zone for whatever date and time you're viewing. For example, if your location is "America/New York", the time zone will be shown as either "EST" (Eastern Standard Time) or "EDT" (Eastern Daylight Time) depending on the date.

Keyboard shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts first need to be enabled from your user profile before you can use them. Shortcuts are available from the details page of line items and proposal line items. To see what shortcuts are available, type "?" from a line item or proposal line item.
