Manage yield partners

Use companies in DFP to configure yield partners

What are yield partners?

Each yield partner is an "ad network" company in DFP. These companies can be used for Mediation for mobile apps or Exchange Bidding, depending on the settings explained below. Learn more about DFP companies

DoubleClick for Publishers: Manage Exchange Bidding Partners

Use an existing company profile for Exchange Bidding or Mediation

  1. Sign in to DoubleClick for Publishers.
  2. Click Admin and then Companies and then Ad networks.
  3. Select the name of the company you wish to use for mediation or Exchange Bidding.
  4. Select Enable for Mediation to use this company in Mediation for mobile apps.
  5. Select Enable for Exchange Bidding and acknowledge that you have a separate contractual relationship with the selected exchange.   Not available in every network.
  6. Click Save.
Why don't I see the "Enable for Exchange Bidding" option?
This option only appears when:
  • The selected ad network has an active Exchange Bidding integration.
  • The Exchange Bidding addendum to your Ad Exchange contract has been processed.

Add a new yield partner

  1. Sign in to DoubleClick for Publishers.
  2. Click Admin and then Companies.
  3. Click New company and then Ad network.
  4. Click Select ad network and select the name of your yield partner. You can also begin typing to filter the list.

If you cannot find your ad network in the list, choose "Other company". This will require that you define custom events in your mobile app and yield groups for use in mediation.

  5. Specify a unique name for this DFP company to determine how it will appear in DFP reports. This name can differ from the partner's official name.
  6. Select Enable for Mediation to use this company in mediation for mobile apps.
  7. Select Enable for Exchange Bidding and acknowledge that you have a separate contractual relationship with the selected exchange. Upon saving, a notification is sent to the exchange to ensure they're aware of the change and can include your network in their pretargeting configuration.
Exchange Bidding can only be enabled for one DFP company per exchange.

Expand the display pretargeting section to see if the selected exchange requires user identifer information in requests or only accepts requests from certain locations. Learn more about buyer pretargeting

  8. Set the Credit status for this company.   Not available in every network. Only companies with an "Active" credit status can be added to a yield group or serve in mediation. Credit status does not affect Exchange Bidding delivery.
  9. (optional) Expand the Additional settings section to enter information about this company for reporting.
  10. Click Save.
Rules set up for Ad Exchange, such as blocking rules, do not apply to third-party exchanges. You need to work with your third-party partner separately to configure rules for their exchange.
