Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings reports (Beta)

Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings™ provides transparent, actionable audience measurement for campaigns running across all digital screens. Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings reports on a campaign’s unique audience.
For the Beta, Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings reports only supports U.S. demographic data on desktop devices, and is only available to U.S. publishers. Not available in DFP Small Business.
To enable Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings in DoubleClick for your network, contact your account manager.

Run a Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings report

To run a report that includes Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings data:
  1. On the Reports tab, click New report.
  2. Select the Reach report type.
  3. To enable the Nielsen metrics, include the following dimensions:
    • Order, Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings Demographics:
    • Order, Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings Demographics, Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings segment: To see additional audience and frequency metrics
    • Order, Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings Demographics, Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings segment, Nielsen Digital Ad Ratings restatement date: This restatement date represents the date Nielsen calculated the data, in other words, if they have to recalculate and replace the data, the replacement date equals the day the recalculation took place.
  4. Select all metrics you want to surface in your report.
  5. Click Run report.

Impressions
The impressions that have accumulated from the beginning of this row’s cumulative metric date range. If the date dimension is included, this metric is for all impressions that have accumulated from the beginning of this row’s cumulative metric date range up to and including the row’s date.
Population base
Total population of the market defined by the age and gender for this row.
% population share
Population / Total Population (For Demographics)
Unique audience
Number of people that have been reached by ads for this campaign since the beginning of this row’s cumulative metric date range. If the date dimension is included, this metric is for total reach that have accumulated from the beginning of this row’s cumulative metric date range up to and including the row’s date.
% audience share
Cumulative Reach / Total Cumulative Reach (For Demographics)
Audience index
% Reach Share (For Demographics) / % Population Share (For Demographics)
% impression share
Cumulative Impressions / Total Cumulative Impressions (For Demographics)
Impressions index
% Impression Share (For Demographics) / % Population Share (For Demographics)
