If no change occurred to a proposal line item, it would not trigger approval again.   • Inventory reserves on proposal line items: DFP now reserves inventory on proposal line items and transfers inventory to delivery line items only when proposals are finalized. Additionally, other changes made to proposals and proposal line items are similarly pushed to corresponding delivery orders and line items only when proposals are finalized.

    Prior, DFP created or updated corresponding orders or line items and reserved inventory on line items any time proposals encountered a "Reserve inventory" rule during workflow. This meant that potentially undesirable inventory reservations and unapproved details of campaigns could be pushed to delivery. Allowing DFP to reserve inventory on proposal line items and withholding inventory and other changes until proposals are finalized ensures only approved campaigns reach delivery. Learn more

For the "Mobile in-app" environment, DFP automatically includes "Mobile apps" under device capability targeting. For the "Display" environment, DFP automatically excludes "Mobile apps". Auto-configuring required targeting safeguards against mismatches between targeting and environment.

Previously, there was a set of filters that combined statuses and "sold", with the options "Draft (sold)", "Awaiting workflow (sold)", and "Rejected (sold)". Now, you can select statuses and "sold" independently, combining as needed. Separating these filter values provides greater flexibility than before.

  • "Daily digest" email notifications for programmatic proposals: You can now get daily digest email notifications for important events related to programmatic proposals. These events include when a buyer has:
    • Initiated a proposal
    • Accepted a proposal
    • Uploaded creatives
    • Paused or resumed delivery

    Previously, DFP was only able to send individual email notifications related to programmatic proposals.

    Important to know about email notifications

    As of this launch, email notifications are set to the default of "Daily digest". To receive individual emails as they occur for these events, change your email notification settings to "Individual emails".
