Limit user access to a team's orders

This article is specific to user access overrides. This is a pre-release feature that can be activated by your network administrator.

By default, all users with the necessary permissions can view and edit all of the orders assigned to the team. In some cases, you might want to limit that access. You can change the default access for the whole team, and you can override that default access to give different access to individual users.

Regardless of the team-level access settings, users can always view and edit their own orders, which include orders they've created and orders to which they've been added as salespeople or traffickers.

Change default access to team orders

You can change the default access to a team's orders. All users on the team will have the access that you set here, unless you specifically change the access setting for that user.

  1. Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
  2. Click Admin and then Access & Authorization and then Teams.
  3. Find and click on the team you want to edit.
  4. Choose a setting for Default access to team orders:
    • Can edit: Users can view and edit all of the orders assigned to the team.

    • Can view: Users can view but not edit all orders assigned to the team.

    • None: Users can't view or edit orders assigned to the team.

Set overrides for individual users

You can set access overrides to change the access for individual users.
