Pause data collection in the study

You can pause data collection at any time. To pause data collection, follow the below instructions:

Pause data collection for 15 minutes

1. Open the ResearchMeter app.
2. In the “Privacy Mode” card, click Enable privacy mode.
   • You can now use your device without data collection enabled.
     
3. The homepage will show how much time is left until data collection continues. To restart data collection sooner, click Disable Privacy Mode.
   

Pause data collection for more than 15 minutes

1. Open the ResearchMeter App.
2. In the bottom bar of the app, click on Settings.
   
3. Use the drop down menu to select the amount of time you would like to pause data collection for.
4. Click Turn On to pause data collection.
   • You can now use your device without data collection enabled.
     
5. The homepage will show how much time is left until data collection continues. To restart data collection sooner, click Disable Privacy Mode.
