How do we obtain your email address
When you become a Primary Organizer or Co-Organizer, your email is shared to us through the Meetup Pro API.
What do you do with my email address
Within one week of joining the program, check your Inbox to find:
- Your invitation to GDG Leads Announcements Google Group
- Your invitation to GDG Global Slack Channel
- The GDG NDA to be completed
You may also receive automated communications containing surveys for events and reminders to log your event attendee counts.
I would not like to receive any emails from the GDG Program
If you would no longer like to receive any communications from the GDG Program, we ask that you change your leadership role to Event Organizer or Assistant Organizer. Only the Primary Organizer and Co-Organizers are roles recognized by the GDG program as "official" organizers of the GDG chapter.
