List of user role permissions

Permissions control access to view or change data in Campaign Manager. Different users can have different sets of permissions. It depends which user role (a set of permissions) you assign to their profile in Campaign Manager.

To change permissions in a user role, view your user roles (Admin > User roles), open the user role. Note that this will affect every user that has this user role. Learn more about user roles and user access

Permissions in Campaign Manager

In your permissions options, "full access" means access to create, edit, delete, or otherwise change the related item; "modify access" means access to edit the item but not to create or delete; "read-only" means access to view properties or related pages but not to change anything.

Reporting permissions

These permissions determine access to view data in Reporting. Note that changes to Reporting permissions can take up to two hours to be reflected in Report Builder.

Delete all saved reports

Enables the user to delete any saved reports, including reports saved by other users.

Edit Verification profiles

Enables access to Verification profiles.

Enables access to the Verification component.

Insert offline conversions

Enables the user to insert offline conversions using with DCM/DFA Reporting and Trafficking API. Learn more

Modify all saved reports

Enables the user to make changes to all saved reports, including reports saved by other users. Users with filters applied to their profiles will only be able to view and select objects that they have permission to access when running a report.

View all generated files

Enables users to download any files generated by any user in the same account or subaccount. These files are visible even if they contain data types for which the user doesn't have the necessary permissions.

View all saved reports

Enables the user to generate files based on any saved reports within their account or subaccount. Users with filters applied to their profiles will only be able to view objects that they have permission to access when running a report.

View click-through conversions

Enables the user to view click-through conversions data.

View cost

Enables the user to view Campaign Manager placement cost information in reports.

View Cross-Site Corrected Reach report

Enables the user to view Cross-Dimension Reach reports.

View custom Floodight variables data

Enables the user to view data on custom Floodlight variables.

View Search Ads 360 data

Enables the user to view Search Ads 360 data.

View Floodlight impressions and unattributed conversions

Enables the user to view Floodlight impressions and unattributed conversions.

View Frequency to Conversion reports

Enables the user to view the Frequency to Conversion report.

View Path to Conversion reports

Enables the user to view Path to Conversion reports.

View revenue data

Enables the user to view revenue data.

View Rich Media event conversions

Enables the user to see Rich Media event conversion data. This permission is respected by Reporting.

View Time Lag to Conversion report

Enables the user to view the Time Lag to Conversion report.

View view-through conversions

Enables the user to view data for view-through conversions.

Trafficking permissions

The permissions define access to elements of Trafficking.

Account Management

Enables access to the account properties and advanced settings.

Ads

Enables access to ads and ad properties. Note that users with read-only access to ads can still create ads auutomatically if they have full access to creatives: they can assign the creatives to placements.

Advertiser Groups

Enables access to advertiser groups.

Advertiser management

Enables access to the advertisers page and advertiser properties.

Campaigns

Enables the user to create, edit, and delete campaigns. There's no "read-only" permission for campaigns because all Campaign Manager users can view them.

Content Categories

Enables the user to create, edit, and delete content categories. There's no corresponding 'read-only' permission for content categories because all Campaign Manager users can view them.

Creatives

Enables access to creatives and creative properties.

Floodlight

Enables access to Floodlight configurations, activities, and variables.

Path to conversion in Floodlight configuration

Enables the user to override P2C settings on the Floodlight configuration page.

Placement costs

Enables access to the payment source, cost structure, and flighting information for placements, packages, and roadblocks.

Placement strategies

Enables the user to create, edit, and delete placement strategies. There's no corresponding 'read-only' permission for placement strategies because all Campaign Manager users can view them.

Enables access to placements and placement properties.

Audience lists

Enables access to audience lists (remarketing lists).

Reservation buying

Your check boxes enable the user to approve orders edit contacts, edit terms and conditions, and push orders to trafficking.

Sites

Enables access to sites, site properties, and (for full-access users) mapping from the Site Directory.

Subaccounts

Enables access to subaccounts.

Tags

Your checkboxes enable the user to export tags, either in general or only for placements without default ads.

User Profiles

Enables access to the user profiles and user profile properties.

User roles

Enables access to the user roles and user role properties.

Enables the user to view click tracker tags for standard ads.

Planning permissions

The permissions define access to elements in Planning.

All

Enables access to all special Planning permissions.

Orders: can approve

Enables the user to approve orders.

Terms and conditions: full access

Enables the user to create and edit reusable terms and conditions.
