EU Disposal Information

Don't put batteries in trash

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and the Battery Directive require that all Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) must be marked with the symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin.

In the European Union, this symbol indicates that this product and/or its battery should not be disposed of with household waste. It should be deposited at an appropriate facility to enable recovery and recycling. Disposing of WEEE together with normal waste may pose a risk to the environment and to human health, due to certain substances used in that equipment.
