I’m trying to group purchases data from an e-commerce by price ranges but I can’t figure out how.
For example i need to create these groups:
0 to 25€
25 to 50€
50 to 100€
100+ €
and then being able to filter and see the data selecting one of these groups.
Any tips?

Hi Marco.
You can create a new field in your data source using the CASE statement inside the Data Studio.
Check the help page.

Or, if CASE gives you trouble, your best bet is to add a column to your data set and assign each row the correct variable you listed above. A more formulaic way to do this is using Conditional Formatting possibly? I.E. If the price is UNDER $25 = 0 to $25, etc.

Hey Marco

Created a Google Data Studio Report (Google Sheet Embedded) for clarification

As noted above, a CASE statement would do the job:
  WHEN Price >= 0 AND Price <= 25 THEN "0€ to 25€"
  WHEN Price > 25 AND Price <= 50 THEN "25€ to 50€"
  WHEN Price > 50 AND Price <= 100 THEN "50€ to 100€"
  WHEN Price > 100 THEN "100€ +"
  ELSE "Not in Range"
