Hello,

I am trying to create a pivot table which shows sessiones by device as a percentage on a a weekly basis, therefore I need the percentage of the row total. But I can only find the options as a column total.
It would look something like this:

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

This is also needed to create cohort analysis charts.

YES. I posted about this last week. The only aggregation option & percentage display is actually for data studio to display the cell as a percentage of all data. So, % of website clicks from an iPhone is August is not possible. Instead, data studio displays that cell's value as a percentage of all data from all times. This is extremely unhelpful, and is a major bug in the system.

Same issue. Glad to hear I'm not alone, but I'm just as frustrated when realizing Data Studio doesn't provide percent of total (by row).
Too many dates and cohorts to manually does this in SQL. SOS, Google.

Same issue, even for the line chart, there's no option to calculate the percentage of column total.

Hey Sanita Banghard et al

Yes, the feature is currently not implemented.
How about a visualisation of the data - 100% Stacked Column Chart?
Created a Google Data Studio Report (Google Analytics Sample Data Source) to demonstrate, as well as a GIF showing the process below (using the original post as an example).
1) Dimensions and Metric
- Dimension: Date (Week);
- Breakdown Dimension: Device Category;
- Metric: Sessions;
2) Sort
- Sort: Date (Week) in Ascending order;
- Secondary sort: Device Category in Ascending order;
3) Formatting (Style Tab)
- Breakdown (View Mode): (Tick) Show Total Card;
- Bars: Increase the number of bars (weeks) from the default 10 to 52 (or as required).
Hope this helps

Hello everyone,
I would like to know if there is still no way to have a sum in percentage of the rows, directly in data studio

Still doesn't seem to be a solution for this. Is there any way it can be done?

I am currently migrating all my reports which I created manually via SQL + Spreadsheets with pivot tables to Data Studio to automate the retrieval of newer data.
I have many Spreadsheet Pivot reports using the "Percentage of Row Total" feature so I urgently need this in Data Studio as well. Please Google, we need this!

Another key workaround here is building the % calculation directly into your SQL query. So then in your pivot table you take the raw cell outputs as literals, and they're now in % form!
