How scheduled email delivery works

Scheduled email delivery sends you an email with a PDF attachment of the report on a regular basis. The email will also contain a preview of the report's first page, and a link to view the complete report. You can include other recipients by entering individual addresses or group email aliases.

Why didn't my report get delivered?

Several things can prevent your report from being delivered:

Errors in the downloaded file

If there is an error in the downloaded report, the email won't send. Make sure the report can be manually downloaded successfully.

Limits of scheduled email delivery

  • The PDF version of the report uses the report’s default saved date range and filters.
  • Currently, a report can only have one email schedule.
  • The person who created the schedule is always included in the recipient list. Additional recipients are optional.
  • The email's From: address is Google Data Studio <data-studio-noreply@google.com>. This can't be changed.
