Schedule email delivery

Share a PDF of your reports via automatic email delivery.

You can send a copy of your Data Studio report to yourself and your stakeholders on a regular basis by setting up an email delivery schedule. 

Create a new email delivery schedule

  1. View the report you want to schedule.
    1. You must be an owner or editor of this report.
  2. In the upper right, click Schedule email delivery .
  3. (Optional) Enter a list of email addresses.
  4. Set the date and time you wish to begin sending the report.
  5. Set the delivery frequency.

Change an existing delivery schedule

  1. View the report you want to reschedule.
    1. You must be an owner or editor of this report.
  2. In the upper right, click Schedule email delivery .
  3. Click EDIT SCHEDULE.
  4. Enter the new schedule details.

Stop email delivery

  1. View the report.
    1. You must be an owner or editor of this report.
  2. In the upper right, click Schedule email delivery .
  3. In the upper right of the schedule dialog, click More More.
  4. Click Delete schedule Trash.

How scheduled email delivery works

Scheduled email delivery sends you an email with a PDF attachment of the report on a regular basis. The email will also contain a preview of the report's first page, and a link to view the complete report. You can include other recipients by entering individual addresses or group email aliases.

Limits of scheduled email delivery

  • The PDF version of the report uses the report’s default saved date range and filters.
  • Currently, a report can only have one email schedule.
  • The person who created the schedule is always included in the recipient list. Additional recipients are optional.
  • The email's From: address is Google Data Studio <data-studio-noreply@google.com>. This can't be changed.
