LOG

Returns the logarithm of a number with respect to a base.

Sample usage

LOG(128,2)

Syntax

LOG(X, [ base)

Parameters

• X - The value for which to calculate the logarithm given base. value must be positive.

• base - (optional) The base to use for calculation of the logarithm. If base is not provided, LOG returns the logarithm of X with base e (Euler's number).
