Notice: Update to Annotation file handling in the CSE Control Panel 0 Recommended Answers 0 Replies 78 Upvotes
Starting in April 2019, uploading and downloading annotations for multiple Custom Search Engines in a single file will no longer be supported. Each of your Custom Search Engines will keep a copy of your merged annotation files, but will only contain annotations that belong to the Custom Search Engine being viewed in the Control Panel. You can continue to use this file to manage the individual Custom Search Engine.
Uploading and downloading annotations for a single Custom Search Engine will continue to be supported.
For more details about using annotations files to manage your annotations, please see the developer's guide: https://developers.google.com/custom-search/docs/annotations
We hope these changes clear up what has often been a source of confusion for CSE owners.
