Hi vpfromindia,

This sounds like behavior that shouldn't be happening. Can you share the link to the results page that you're taken to when you search from Google.com? I'd also recommend checking your computer for malware in case a virus or other program is causing this redirect.

I have the exact same problem. Whenever I do a normal google search (from www.google.com.my), the search results will show the google custom search results.

Here is the screenshot of the (custom) search result that I got:

I am using IE7, winXP pro SP2. When I tried using Chrome (which I seldom use), I find the search results is as it should, no problems at all. Could this be an IE specific problem, maybe my IE got corrupted or something?

As suggested, I've scanned my laptop with the latest Panda anti-virus, and I have downloaded and ran Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy. Yeah, the search results got some malware/spyware (most noticible is the autorun.inf trojan), but all these has been cleaned by the software. But the google custom search problem is still there.

I don't know what else to do....please help, it's driving me nuts. Thanks in advance.

Update: Problem solved. It just seem to fix by itself. I don't think I did anything, my Google search result just went back to normal.

If any Google staff here actually did something at the back end to help fix my problem, thanks.
