Enhance your organization's website even more with Google Site Search.

Share quotas between search engines

If you have a Google Site Search engine, you have the option of sharing your query quota with other search engines you own.

This group of search engines is know as a Business Group. The master is the Google Site Search engine you started with and the other search engines are considered group members.

When you create a business group, all of the group members are converted to Google Site Search and share the query quota of the master. Business groups do not share indexing quotas.

Create a business group:

  1. From the Control Panel, select the Google Site Search engine you want to transfer to a different account.
  2. Click Business from the left menu.
  3. Click Ownership & Group and then Group several search engines.
  4. Click Add and select the search engines you want to add. These must be free search engines of which you are owner or an administrator.
  5. Click OK
