Track AdSense earnings with custom channels

Now that you've connected your custom search engine to your AdSense account, you might want to be able to track earnings made through searches on your site. You can do this by setting up different channels for your search engines. For more information on channels, see AdSense Help.

If you have trouble setting up a channel for your search engine, make sure you confirmed the association between your AdSense account and search engine in the confirmation email you got the first time you associated them.

View your custom channels associations:

  1. From the control panel, select the search engine you want to edit.
  2. Click Setup from the menu on the left and then click the Ads tab. Only owners, not administrators can access this tab.
  3. If your custom search engine is associated with your AdSense account, you will be able to view your selected custom search engine's associated custom channels in the Custom Channels panel.
    • Note: If your custom search engine isn't associated with your AdSense account, you will need to first connect your search engine to AdSense before you can view custom channels associations. Please visit Connect your search engine to AdSense for more details.
