Choose who can edit your search engine

You can choose up to 200 users to act as admins for your search engine. Admins will be able to edit most details of your search engine through the Control Panel. However, they won't be able to: 

  • Delete the search engine
  • Add or remove admin accounts
  • Access the Make Money tab

Add an admin:

  1. From the control panel, select the search engine you want to edit.
  2. Click Setup from the menu on the left and then click the Admin tab.
  3. Click Add and enter the Google Account for the user you want to make an admin.

The user will receive an email notifying them that you made tham an admin on your search engine. They must access the Control Panel using the Google Account you added to be able to make changes. 

Remove an admin: 

  1. From the control panel, select the search engine you want to edit.
  2. Click Setup from the menu on the left and then click the Admin tab.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the user you want to remove and click Delete.
  4. Click OK
