When you create a promotion, you can include a thumbnail image to help your promoted link stand out. Promotion images (any size) will be resized to fit into a box of 60x60. Aspect ratios will be preserved. If your original image is smaller than 60x60 pixels, the original image size will be preserved and will be aligned top and left within the 60x60 bounding box.
Display a thumbnail image in a promotion
- On the Custom Search home page, click the search engine you want.
- Click Search features, and then click the Promotions tab.
- Ensure that Enable promotions is set to ON.
- To edit an existing promotion, click its name. Otherwise, click Add and create a new promotion.
- Enter the details you want, and include a URL to your image in the Thumbnail image URL box.
