Embed Street View

Add one or more Street View assets into an existing website or blog

Enable the StreetView asset to be Embedded in the Google Arts & Culture CMS

  1. Go the to homepage of your Google Arts & Culture CMS.
  2. Go to the Embed section of the CMS, and then enter the websites you'd like to embed your content inside of the field, see the screenshot below.
  3. Hit save. Now your content is available to embed in the listed domains.

Retrieve the embed code snippet

  1. Go to the page that lists your items in the Google Arts & Culture CMS.
  2. Select a StreetView asset.
  3. Scroll down to the Publishing Options section, then check the Embed option.
  4. A code snippet box should open in the Embed section, as the below screenshot shows.
  5. Select the window size you want for your Embed, as well as the appearance.
  6. The code snippet should update.

Publish the StreetView asset

In order for the asset to be embeddable, it should be published in the Arts & Culture CMS. If you see a 404 page when embedding the asset, it means that it's not published. Please reach out to your Google point of contact in order to launch the assets.

Use the code snippet in your website

Verify that the code snippet looks like the following:

Copy-paste the code snippet directly into your own website, and it should render the embedded Street View.
