What does a bus or taxi look like in your community, or a typical coffee or tea mug? Help Google image apps reflect the rich visual experience of the entire global community by capturing, tagging, and sharing images with Google for use in product improvement. Google then uses these images to improve its image-related technology, including image recognition and organizing by keyword.
To contribute images, you take photos of things around you or choose photos from your device to upload.You can also contribute images using "Share" option for images on apps like Photos and Gallery - just share them to the Crowdsource app, You then label them with keywords, or tags, that will help others identify and retrieve the photos. You can also choose to open-source your images and share them with developers, researchers, and other users worldwide.
To review images you’ve uploaded, tap Account menu > My uploads on the Crowdsource home screen, or tap My uploads 
Guidelines for submitting images
- Submit images of recognizable objects and landmarks, including everyday objects (pen, ball, shirt, window); locations and landmarks (post office, Eiffel Tower, mountain); and plants, animals, and food (orchid, pit bull, rice).
- Contribute only photos that are taken by you.
- Because images may be seen by Google employees and other Google users, please avoid sensitive and personal material in images.
- To protect the privacy of people in photographs, faces in images other than selfies are blurred before uploading. Find out more about blurring and unblurring faces in images.
- Where possible, tag images with both general and specific keywords or phrases (for example: Taj Mahal, mausoleum or tree, evergreen, lodgepole pine).
- You can tag images in multiple languages, using any language you can type in.
