Points are awarded for each answer you contribute. The number of initial points awarded will increase based on question difficulty. You'll also receive extra points over time for high quality answers when other Crowdsource users answer the same way you did.

Why is the points based system being introduced to the application?
The points based system is built to recognize Crowdsource users who have gone the extra mile. The system recognizes users based on the difficulty of tasks done and the quality of answers provided to Crowdsource.
How does the points based system determine the quality of answers?
We use signals such as answers made by other Crowdsource users and the contents of your answer to determine the quality of your answer.How were my existing points converted into the new points based system?
Any prior points earned will be saved and converted to points awarded by task type, as described in the table above.With the new levels and points being introduced, are there going to be any new rewards that can be unlocked?
We have expanded the levels system as a part of the new points based system, and have increased the number of total levels from 18 to 50. We hope to add new ways to recognize our users in the future. Stay tuned!I’ve already unlocked an incentive in the previous level system. Will I receive the incentive again?
You will not receive incentives that you have already unlocked in the previous level system.
Why have my points decreased on my mobile device? What happens when my device goes offline?
When your mobile device goes offline, we may not be able to register your answer immediately. You may see that points are awarded and then deducted. Not to worry, the points you earned offline will be synced appropriately back to your device in a matter of minutes once you’re reconnected.Why did the same level-up popup screen appear more than once?
If your device goes offline temporarily, you may observe the same congratulatory level-up screen twice. This is expected and you may see a temporary down-level and up-level due to syncing of your points (see previous question).
How are contributions to “Other” task types in my Achievements page included in the Points system?
For all other task types, we reward 1 point per answer, including answers you may have provided outside of Crowdsource.
