Customer Satisfaction by the Harris Poll®

Overview
Google Consumer Surveys and the Harris Poll®  have partnered to develop and bring to market a new product that allows businesses, both large and small, to compare themselves to industry benchmarks at a fraction of the cost of traditional market research. On an ongoing basis, industry benchmarks will be collected and delivered, free of charge, within the Harris Poll®  and Google Consumer Survey platform.

Industry Benchmarks
With each release, the Harris Poll®  will provide detailed survey results for industry leaders that will be used as a benchmark against which smaller businesses can compare their own results upon purchase of their own study.

Index & Rankings
For each study, an index will be computed and used to provide rankings across the profiled businesses or brands.  The calculation used for the index will be unique to each industry study.

Custom Geographic Targeting
When a business purchases a study through the Harris Poll® and Google Consumer Surveys product, the system will automatically target survey questions to respondents in the service areas for that particular business.  For example, for each bank who purchases their own survey in our September 2012 Retail Banking Study, questions will automatically be distributed only to respondents in the states and zip codes in which that particular bank operates.

Businesses with too few locations to build an adequate sample in a reasonable amount of time will receive a message in the interface that a survey cannot be purchased at that time.

Online Retailer Study - November 2012
The second benchmark study offered within the Harris Poll®  and Google Consumer Survey platform investigates customer satisfaction within the online retail industry, including industry leaders such as Amazon, Costco, Target, and L.L.Bean.  Results of this Harris Poll benchmark study are now publicly available.  The index used for this study was computed using the Overall Satisfaction score provided by survey respondents.

Retailers not part of the initial study can run the same survey for their own brand and benchmark results against industry leaders for $2,995.  Visit our sign-up page to get started.

Larger retailers will be able to build their study and purchase automatically within the interface, while smaller retailers will be directed to the Google Consumer Surveys sales team to discuss how the platform can best accommodate them.

Retail Banking Study - September 2012
The first benchmark study offered within the Harris Poll®  and Google Consumer Survey platform investigates customer satisfaction within the retail banking industry; covering industry leaders Bank of America, Chase Bank, Citibank and Wells Fargo.  Results of this Harris Poll benchmark study are now available, free of charge.  The index used for this study was computed using the Overall Satisfaction score provided by survey respondents.

Banks not part of the initial study can run the same survey for their own brand and benchmark results against industry leaders for $4950.  Visit our sign-up page to get started.

Larger banks will be able to build their study and purchase automatically within the interface, while smaller banks will either be directed to the Google Consumer Surveys sales team -- who will provide further information on turnaround time -- or will be informed that their geographic reach is too small to conduct a survey in a reasonable amount of time.
