Overview for users

What is Google Consumer Surveys?

Google Consumer Surveys is a market research tool that allows market researchers to easily create online surveys in order to help make more informed business decisions. Users complete survey questions in order to access high quality content around the web, and publishers get paid as their users answer. For the Google Opinion Rewards App, those users complete questions to get Google Play credits. Google automatically analyzes responses, providing the data back to market researchers through a simple online interface.

Your opinion for Google Play credits

When you take a survey using Google Opinion Rewards, your answer is anonymous and is not connected to your personally identifiable information. When the survey is complete, Google will share anonymous answers with the survey creator who provided the questions. In exchange, we provided you, the user, credits to use in the Google Play store. These credits are of varying amounts and are not linked to answering a question in a specific way, so we encourage you to answer honestly and carefully. We do monitor user behavior to ensure that our market researchers are receiving the best possible data, but your answers to any particular survey will not affect whether or not you get to answer future surveys.

For more information regarding your survey responses, see the Google Privacy Policy.
