In all Console, the Business Profile page holds info about you as a business. To use most Console products and services, you need a completed and approved Business Profile.
Submit your business info
Your Business Profile requires the following fields:

Public business name | Provide your public business name. This name is displayed on consumer or user-facing surfaces. |
Business website | Provide the URL of your business website. |
Customer support URL | Provide the URL where your customers can find support. It can be the same as your business website. |
Customer support email | Provide the email that your customers can use to get support. |
Customer support phone | Provide the phone number that your customers can call for support. It can be the same as your business phone number. |
Merchants outside of India are also required to provide:

Merchant Category Code (MCC) | Enter the 4-digit code that you use to classify your business by the types of goods or services you provide. |
Important: For issuers, this section is currently required. We recommend that you use the category “Others (0000)” as a placeholder. In the near future, this section will no longer be required.
Merchants in India are also required to provide:

Identify your business
To identify your business in Console, you must associate your Business Profile with a Google Payments Profile:
- If you have a Google Payments Profile that represents your business: Select a pre-existing Google Payments Profile from your list.
- If you don't have one or it isn't associated with the same business you're identifying: Create a new Google Payments Profile.
To use products and services within Console, your Business Profile must be associated with only one Google Payments Profile. If you must change your Google Payments Profile association with your Business Profile, sign in to the Console and use the Contact support page for help.
If your business operates in multiple countries, Console makes it easy for you to manage them. Create a new business for each country and go through the association process in the Business Profile of each business.
Below are solutions to issues you may run into when identifying your business:
I can’t update a Google Payments Profile because it’s lockedIf you previously verified your Google Payments Profile, it may be locked. To update info in your locked profile, submit new info and get reverified with the Name/Address Change Form.
There are many reasons why a profile may not be selectable:
- It may already be associated with another Business Profile.
- You may not have the right access level to associate it.
- It may be registered in a country other than your Console account.
If you previously verified your Google Payments Profile, it may be locked. To update info in your locked profile, submit new info and get reverified with the Name/Address Change Form.
Important: The country of your Business Profile is locked to the country selected during registration.
The country of your Business Profile and your Google Payments Profile must match.
To change the country of your Business Profile, go to the Console and use the Contact support tab. If you change the country of your Business Profile, it may affect your available products and services in Console.
Create a new Google Payments Profile and select a new type. The country of your new Google Payments Profile must match the country of your Business Profile.
You can’t edit info when you identify your business. You can edit info after on pay.google.com.
You may get this message when the previously selected Payment Profile was deleted or disassociated. To complete your Business Profile, select another pre-existing Payments Profile from your list or create a new Google Payments Profile.
To use products and services within Console, your Business Profile must be associated with only one Google Payments Profile. If you must change your Google Payments Profile association with your Business Profile, go to the Console and contact us through the Contact support tab.
Understand statuses
Your Business Profile can have one of the following statuses:
- Incomplete
- Approved
- In Review
- Rejected
To use other products and services within Console, a Business Profile must have an “Approved” status.
