GME's feed-reading infrastructure has a caching policy in place; this means that instead of re-downloading a feed every time it is requested, the feed is instead downloaded only one time initially and stored so that subsequent requests can be processed faster. Unfortunately, because it may take several hours for the feed-reading backend to verify whether it has the newest edition of a particular feed, you may not always see the latest entries in your mashup.
