This feature is available with G Suite Enterprise, G Suite Enterprise for Education, Drive Enterprise, and Cloud Identity Premium editions.
You can customize the security dashboard to add, hide, and reorder charts so that you can focus on the charts that are most important to you.
Click the Customize dashboard icon in the upper-right corner of the page. This displays the Add widgets panel, which places the security dashboard in edit mode. The Add widgets panel contains a list of charts that you can add to the dashboard.
Note: All modifications to the dashboard are saved on a per-user basis. For example, if you hide a chart on the dashboard, this chart is only hidden for you, and not for other admins in your organization.
Add or hide charts
You can pick up and drag items to and from the Add widgets panel, and to and from the dashboard. Drag the chart by clicking it, holding on to it, and then moving it to the location you prefer.
You can also hide a chart by clicking the x icon in the upper-right corner of any chart in the dashboard, or you can add a chart to the dashboard by clicking the + icon for a chart in the Add widgets panel.
You can move a chart up or down, or you can move a chart from one column to another. Pick up any chart on the page and drag it to the location that you prefer.
Use keyboard controls
While the dashboard is in edit mode, you can also use keyboard controls to move the charts:
- Navigate to the chart that you want to move by pressing the tab key, and then pressing the enter key.
- Select the destination for the chart by pressing the arrow keys to navigate within the dashboard.
- Press the enter key to confirm the new location, or press the escape key to cancel the action.
