Cancel Cloud Identity

Cancel your subscription or delete your Google Account

Applies only if you purchased your service directly from Google. If you purchased your service from a reseller, contact your reseller for help. Not sure? See: Are you a direct or resold customer?

If any users in your organization don’t need the Cloud Identity service anymore, you can delete those users or cancel your subscription.

To stop using all Google services at your organization, cancel your subscriptions and delete your organization's Google Account.

Cancel one subscription

Cancel Cloud Identity Premium

You can cancel your Cloud Identity Premium subscription if your users don’t need its features anymore. Users’ licenses to other services, such as G Suite, stay in place. After you cancel Premium, if you have the Cloud Identity free edition, users with no other licenses get free Cloud Identity licenses.

After you cancel, Google automatically charges your primary payment method when the next month starts.

  • Flexible Plan subscribers are charged a prorated cost for the current month’s usage.
  • Annual Plan subscribers can find the cost of the remainder of their plan on the cancellation page.
  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console dashboard, go to Billing.
  3. Under Subscriptions, locate Cloud Identity Premium.
  4. Click Actions and then Cancel subscription.
  5. Click Continue to cancel the subscription.
Cancel Cloud Identity (free edition)

You can’t cancel a free Cloud Identity subscription. Users who don’t need free Cloud Identity features or any of your other subscriptions can simply be deleted from the organization.

If you only have a free Cloud Identity subscription and none of your users need the service anymore, see the following steps to delete your Google Account.

Delete your Google Account

If you have G Suite and want to cancel your Google Account, follow the steps in Cancel your G Suite subscription instead.

Canceling your subscriptions and deleting your Google Account results in the irrevocable loss of user and organization data.
