Switching your payment plan depends on whether you currently have the Flexible Plan or Annual/Fixed-Term Plan.
Before you begin
As you review the options for switching your plan, note that the price differs depending on the plan. For details, go to Compare Flexible & Annual/Fixed-Term payment plans.
Switch from Flexible to Annual/Fixed-Term Plan
You can switch from the Flexible Plan to the Annual/Fixed-Term Plan in the Google Admin console. If you’re unable to make this change in the Admin console, go to contact sales and complete the form.
Switch from Annual/Fixed-Term to Flexible Plan
During your free trialIf you’re still in your free trial, you can switch from the Annual/Fixed-Term Plan to the Flexible Plan before your paid service starts.

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

In the Admin console, go to Menu
Billing
Subscriptions.
- Click your subscription.
- For Payment plan, click Change payment plan.
- Review the terms and monthly price of the Flexible Plan.
As of April 11, 2023, there is an increase in price for the Flexible Plan.
- Click Checkout.
After your free trial, you can switch to the Flexible Plan before your renewal date. However, your switch to the Flexible Plan will take effect on your renewal date. And, you’ll be charged for the remaining balance of your annual commitment.

Sign in to your Google Admin console.
Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

In the Admin console, go to Menu
Billing
Subscriptions.
- Click your subscription.
- Go to Plan renewal and find the date your contract renews.
On this date, your switch to the Flexible Plan will take effect. - Click Change renewal settings.
- Select Switch to the flexible payment plan.
As of April 11, 2023, there is an increase in price for the Flexible Plan.
- Click Save.
