Switch billing plans

Applies to G Suite and Cloud Identity Premium.

The options for switching your billing plan depend on the plan you currently have.

Switch from Flexible to Annual Plan

You can’t switch directly from the Flexible to the Annual Plan. To make this change, contact a:

Switch from Annual to Flexible Plan

Note: If you cancel your G Suite or Cloud Identity Premium Annual Plan subscription before its renewal date, you’ll be required to pay a closeout charge.

During your free trial

If you are still in your free trial, you can switch from the Annual Plan to the Flexible Plan at any time.

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Billing.
  3. To the left of the relevant subscription, click the Down arrow Down Arrow .
  4. Next to Payment plan, click Change.
  5. Select Flexible Plan.
  6. Review and save your change.

After your free trial expires

After your free trial expires, you can switch to the Flexible Plan when it’s time to renew your subscription. 

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Billing.
  3. To the left of the relevant subscription, click the Down arrow Down Arrow .
  4. Next to Renewal options, click Change.
  5. Select Switch to Flexible Plan.
  6. Click Save.

When your annual subscription is next up for renewal, you’ll be switched to the Flexible Plan.
