Use the touchscreen feature

Hangouts Meet hardware

For information on Hangouts Meet hardware touchscreen, see Use the Hangouts Meet touchscreen.

Chromebox for meetings

You can use the touchscreen feature instead of the RF remote to control your device. Clicking on the highlighted meeting entry box displays an on-screen virtual keyboard for interacting with text fields.

The phone entry dialog displays a dial pad instead of the regular alphanumeric keyboard to simplify the input of phone numbers. The keyboard disappears on entering the meeting and is not visible during the call.

Note: Chromebox users will need to use the RF remote control if spoken feedback is enabled on the device.

Chromebase for meetings

The touchscreen is a standard feature on the Chromebase for meetings device. Optionally, you can attach a keyboard and mouse to your Chromebase device (the keyboard and mouse are included with the Chromebase device, but not required).
