ios public beta 13. home app no longer can detect my local devices,google home,minis or chromecast 1 Recommended Answer 210 Replies 476 Upvotes

after ios public beta 13 install now my google home app will no longer show any of my minis,google home,jbl link 20 or chromecast audio devices when connected on the same wifi on my phone and like i do everyday casting from the spotify app to the one of the device groups now it will not show even the device groups along with all the local devices like chromecast audio it only has the few spotify connect options to choose from and they are ones i never use like roku tv or crappy alexa devices.............OK I UNINSTALLED THE GOOGLE HOME APP AND RESTARTED THE PHONE THEN WENT AND RE-INSTALL GOOGLE HOME APP AND WAS TELLING ME I WAS NOT CONNECTED TO WIFI WHEN I WAS CONNECTED THEN ALL THE SUDDEN IT STARTING DISCOVERING ALL MY DEVICES AND EVERYTHING IS THERE LIKE IT WAS BEFORE INSTALLING IOS PUBLIC BETA 13 THIS MORNING AND FINDING A BUNCH OF APPS NOT EVEN WORKING AT ALL WHICH I KNEW THE RISK WITH THE PUBLIC BETA AND JUMPING INTO IOS 13 WAY TOO SOON I SHOULD HAVE WAITED ANOTHER WEEK OR TWO BUT AS FOR ALL MY GOOGLE APPS ON MY IPHONE 8 PLUS ALL THEY WORK GREAT NOW AFTER THIS LITTLE ISSUE WHICH WAS EASILY FIXED WITH UNINSTALL GOOGLE HOME APP AND RESTART PHONE THEN REINSTALL THE APP BUT NOW IT IS THE SPOTIFY APP NOT SHOWING MY SPEAKER GROUPS OR DEVICES AND I HAVE UNINSTALLED AND RE-INSTALL SEVERAL TIMES AND NO LUCK BEING ABLE TO FIND AND CAST MUSIC TO MY USUAL DEVICES I HAVE TO USE THIS OLD ANDROID PHONE WITH SPOTIFY BECAUSE IT HAS ALL MY GROUPS AND DEVICES SHOWING SO I CAN CLICK ON AND CAST FROM IT FOR NOW
