The Youtube app for iOS won't detect my Chromecast Ultra sometimes and in most cases it happens right after the app has updated. And Youtube is the only app that won't detect it because all my other apps can. Ziggo GO, Netflix but not Youtube. Don't tell me to reboot my router because the router is not the problem since other apps can connect to it. How can it be possible that Google's own apps can't even work together with their own products? It's downright PATHETIC!

I'm having the same issue!

I rebooted the chrome cast. The YouTube version needed updating so I tried that too. Meaning it wasn't working before the update either!

Everytime I have to reset to connect to my Google Chromecast. What the fuck they have created it seems like very damn pathetic. It is showing me offline but both the device my mobile and my Chromecast are connected to my mobile
