Chromecast from Mac Google Chrome on Project Free TV suddenly became unwatchable

Welcome to the Chromecast Help Forum—tell us about your issue:

Are you seeing any particular error message? no
What’s your router’s make and model? cisco linksys
What’s your TV’s make and model? Polaroid HDTV
What OS are you using to cast (Android 4.4, Windows 7, OSx 10.8, etc.)? Mac Yosemite
Kindly answer the questions above before posting.

I have had a great time using Chromecast to see episodes I missed on Porject free TV before the DVD release date, but for the last couple of days the quality of all the posts there has been so bad - awful sound and delayed picture, that I just watched on the laptop - and had a perfect experience. But I miss the Chromecast to big screen and there seems to be no directions to try to fix things - I replugged everything in a recast without effect.
