No casting option in apps

The chromecast icon has disappeared from my streaming apps, including Netflix, HBO, and YouTube. I've tried shutting down running apps and start them again, and I've tried rebooting, and it still hasn't reappeared. As far as I can tell, the backdrop is normal and and my phones connected to the device as normal ad well. It's just like the casting function in the individual apps is gone...

It didn't work on my laptop either, I tried casting from Netflix and from chrome in general, and it says there's no device. I tried rebooting my router as well, with no luck.

seems like a global issue. Just when you want to binge watch a netflix show... great timing

Having problems still. I delinked the device, now can’t re-link it as the network is not detected.

Yeah, it's still down here, too. I'm just watching online instead until it's solved. But I'm had to know it's not just me.

So I am not the only one. I can see my device in Google home but can't cast anything.
