If your Google Nest or Google Home speaker or display is having trouble connecting to your Google Account, try the steps below:
- Make sure your speaker or display is connected to Wi-Fi and your internet is working.
- Reboot your speaker or display using one of the methods below:
- From the Google Home app:
- Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
- Open the Google Home app .
- Tap and hold your device's tile.
- At the top right, tap Settings More Reboot.
- Unplug Google Nest or Google Home
- Unplug the power cord from your speaker or display.
- Leave it unplugged for one minute.
- Plug the power cord back in.
