Important: Firmware updates are done in stages. The production firmware versions listed are updated once the version is available for all devices.

Check the firmware version of your streaming device

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. Tap Home   All devices , then touch and hold your device's tile.
3. Tap Settings   Device information.
4. Under "Technical information," check for Cast firmware version: "X.XX.XXXXXX" (speakers) or System firmware version "XX.XXXXXXXX.XXX.XXXX" (displays).

Download the latest system update for your streaming device

Your device usually downloads updates automatically. To manually download the latest update, follow these steps:

1. Go to the home screen of your streaming device.

2. Choose All settings System About System update.
