I am unable to see the guest mode PIN on the device card

If you are unable to see the guest mode PIN on the device card that you’d like to set up with guest mode, try these simple steps:

  • In the top right corner of the device card, touch the device card menu Menu.
  • Touch Guest mode.
  • Verify that it is ON.
  • Toggle guest mode OFF and then back ON and see if the PIN appears on the device card.
  • If you are still unable to see the PIN, please reboot your Chromecast Audio. To do this, unplug the Chromecast Audio from the wall,  wait ~1 minute, and then plug the Chromecast Audio back in.  The PIN should appear on the backdrop.
