Missing the Cast button?

Can't find the Cast button in your desktop or laptop Chrome toolbar? Here are a few troubleshooting steps:

1. Make sure the Chrome browser is up to date.
2. Make sure your laptop or computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast device.
3. The Cast button is in the overflow area. If you have multiple extensions on your browser, the Cast button might be in the button overflow area. Expand the extension button area by clicking More  Save and Share  Cast... 
   Note: You can restore the Cast button to your toolbar by right-clicking the button, then clicking Keep in Toolbar.
4. The Cast button disappears after you reset your Chrome settings. You might've seen a prompt in Chrome asking you to reset your browser settings to factory default. Clicking Reset will make the Cast button disappear. Restore the Cast button by pinning the Cast button to your Chrome toolbar. 
5. The Cast button was removed. Restore the Cast button by pinning the Cast button to your Chrome toolbar.
