Plug in Chromecast Audio

You can connect Chromecast Audio to your speakers in a few simple steps:

  • A: Plug the USB power cable into your Chromecast Audio. Then plug the other end into the provided power supply.
  • B: Plug the audio cable into your Chromecast Audio.
  • C: Plug the other end of the audio cable into any open standard 3.5 mm port. Note: You can also use speaker systems with RCA inputs and optical digital inputs, but required cables are sold separately. Here's how to plug these in.
  • D: Plug the provided power supply into an open outlet.

It's important to use the cables and adapters that come inside the Chromecast Audio box.

Once your Chromecast Audio is plugged in, turn on your speaker and choose the input source that your Chromecast Audio is connected to. Once you hear the music, adjust the speaker volume to a comfortable level.
