Share feedback about Chromecast devices and the Google Home app

We're always looking to improve Chromecast and Chromecast Audio devices, TVs and speakers with Chromecast Built-In, and the Google Home app. Your feedback is extremely important to us.

From the Google Home app

Step 1. Turn on device reports

  1. Make sure that your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Chromecast, or speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Tap and hold your device's tile.
  4. Tap Settings Recognition and sharing.
  5. Turn on Send [device model] device usage and crash reports to Google (example, Send Google Home device usage and crash reports to Google).

Step 2. ​Share your feedback

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. At the top right, tap your account.
  3. Tap Feedback and then for the device you'd like to submit feedback for.
  4. To display available emails, in the 'From:' section, tap the arrow on the right. Select your email address.
  5. In the field provided, enter the details of your feedback. Make sure that you do not include sensitive information.
  6. Make sure that you tick the box for Screenshot and System logs.
  7. To submit feedback, at the top-right corner, tap Send .

From your Chromecast TV

From Settings

To send feedback directly from your Chromecast with Google TV, use your remote to open Settings Help and feedback Send feedback to Google. This will open a dialogue box where you can write or say your feedback.

With your voice

On your remote, press and hold the Google Assistant button , then say 'Send feedback'. When Google Assistant responds, dictate your feedback and follow the on-screen instruction to send it.
