If the guest mode PIN doesn't appear on the device card that you’d like to set up with guest mode, try these steps:
- Open the Google Home app .
- Tap and hold your device's tile.
- At the top right, tap Settings Recognition and sharing Guest mode.
- Verify that it is on.
- Turn off guest mode and then turn it back on .
- Check if the PIN appears on the device card.
- If the PIN still doesn't appear, reboot your Chromecast. To do this, unplug the Chromecast from the power source, wait ~1 minute, and then plug the Chromecast back in. The PIN should appear on the backdrop.
