If you purchased your Chromecast from the Google Store or an authorised Chromecast retailer and you're in need of a replacement, contact us for assistance.

If you purchased your Chromecast from someone other than a Google-authorised retailer, your purchase is not covered by our warranty. Review our Warranty policy.
Have your Chromecast's serial number available when you call so that we can assist you. Your serial number can be found on the back of your Chromecast under the HDMI logo. Before replacing your device, make sure that you perform a factory reset on your device. A factory reset clears your data from your Chromecast.
You can perform a factory reset on your Chromecast using one of the two methods listed below.
Important: This action clears your data and can't be undone.
Google TV Streamer (4K)
With the Google TV Streamer Voice Remote
- At the top right of your TV screen, select your profile

- While the device is plugged into the TV and powered on, press and hold the button for 10-12 seconds on the back of the device. The LED should start to blink yellow

- When the LED light turns solid white, release the button, and the device should then reset.
With the Chromecast Voice Remote
