Remove Google streaming devices from your Google Account

Select one of the following options to disconnect your Google Account from your Chromecast with Google TV or Google TV Streamer (4K):

From the Google TV screen

1. At the top right of the TV screen, select your profile  All settings.
2. Open Accounts & Sign In and select the Google Account you want to remove.
3. Select Remove Remove account.

From your account in a browser

Important: If you remove all accounts from your Google streaming device, it'll factory reset.

1. Go to https://myaccount.google.com/device-activity.
2. Make sure you're signed into the same Google Account as on your streaming device.
3. Select the Google TV you'd like to remove from your account Sign out Sign out.

From the Google Home app

Important: If you remove your Google streaming device from the Google Home app, it'll automatically unlink from your Google Account and the accounts of the other home members. Data associated with the streaming device will also be deleted.

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. Touch and hold your streaming device’s tile.
3. Tap Settings Remove device Remove.

Important: Before you return or give away your streaming device, do a factory reset.
