"Chrome didn't shut down correctly" and other apps killed when disconnect external monitor
0
When I disconnect my (new) external monitor, if a window belonging to the Termux Android app was showing on the external monitor, then all the apps apparently get killed. All that's left is a Chrome browser window with the message "Chrome didn't shut down correctly." Pressing "Restore" there brings back the Chrome windows/tabs that were present (even partially filled-in web forms). Apparently the OS itself didn't crash/restart (is that even possible?), because running `uptime` in a new Termux window shows an older boot time.

It used to work fine on my older monitor; only a problem on the new monitor.

If a Termux window is on the main internal display, no problem. Other apps showing on (either) display, no problem.

Should I report this to Google as a ChromeOS bug?

(my original bug report on Github, which I mentioned above, incorrectly(?) characterized it as a Chrome OS crash.)
