Talk to Microsoft. I found how to install it with an emulator. It seemed overly complicated. I also saw there is a Linux version that should be easier. You just need to ask them if it's compatible with CrOstini. Since you're a paying customer ask them to walk you through the process.

Download the DEB file: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ww/microsoft-teams/download-app#desktopAppDownloadregion
1. Enable Linux
2. Install Powershell in Terminal, this is needed for Teams (otherwise Teams will not start)
a. Open the Terminal
b. sudo apt install powershell

Hi acrazyapple,
It looks like you can download the Linux version (
.deb format
) of the Microsoft Teams app here:Installing it should be as easy as double-clicking the file after you've downloaded it (and set up the Linux environment).
We can try to help if you run into issues getting Linux set up or the package installed, but Microsoft would be the ones to contact for support using the app.
Cheers,
John

The Linux feature is still a work in progress. It runs in a container inside of a virtual machine inside of Chrome OS, and doesn't get direct access to any of your Chromebook's hardware. I'm not sure if any Linux apps are able to access a Chromebook's camera right now.
And no, I don't think that Microsoft has officially released other parts of the Office suite for Linux. You can use Word and Powerpoint online or through the Android versions.

You're running two different operating systems now. They each want space for caching. Try moving some of your personal files to your drive and google photos. Remove any play store apps you don't use like the Microsoft ones you have on Linux now.
Clear your browser's cache and data. Time range All Time
Did that fix the issue?
