Make DuckDuckGo your default search engine in ChromeOS

I came across this little gem.

No tracking, selling your data, and you can even turn ads off.

As well as setting DuckDuckGo as the default search engine (i.e. for whatever you type in your omnibar) there is also an "app" in the Chrome Web Store.

You've got to love it!

TL;DR

Click Settings, Search and select DuckDuckGo from the drop-down menu. Done.

Quality search results don't require user tracking of any kind.

...you have to "download" it first from their website.

Levels

Member levels indicate a user's level of participation in a forum. The greater the participation, the higher the level. Everyone starts at level 1 and can rise to level 10. These activities can increase your level in a forum:

  • Post an answer.
  • Having your answer selected as the best answer.
  • Having your post rated as helpful.
  • Vote up a post.
  • Correctly mark a topic or post as abuse.

Having a post marked and removed as abuse will slow a user's advance in levels.
