You can create AI-generated wallpaper for your Chromebook Plus through your own prompts or use the 'Inspire me' feature, which generates wallpapers with random prompts.
Create your own wallpaper
Important: This feature is only available on Chromebook Plus devices.
- On your Chromebook Plus, right-click on your desktop.
- Select Set wallpaper and style
Wallpaper.
- Under 'Exclusive for Chromebook Plus', select Create your own.
- In the text field, select a sample prompt or enter any prompt of your choice.
- Select either:
- Inspire me: To generate random options.
- Create: To use your choices.
- For each freeform generation process, up to four images are created.
- You can change the prompt and generate a new set of images.
- You can also recreate more images with the same prompt, which adds another four images to the feed.
- To update your wallpaper, under 'Results', select the generated image.
Wallpaper.Tips:
- Under the 'Create your own' page, you can find sample prompts and your recently used wallpapers.
- Under 'Sample Prompts', you’ll find the 'Recent wallpapers powered by Google AI' section if you’ve generated wallpapers before. From this section, you can select:
- Create more: You can start the creation process with the same prompt used to generate this image.
- Delete: From the 'Recently used' section, you can delete an image.
- About: You can open the dialogue with image info, including the prompt used and the date generated.
Tips for image generation prompts
- Start your prompt with words like draw, generate or create.
- Describe the image style you want. Here are a few examples: photorealistic, charcoal drawing, watercolour painting, cartoon illustration.
- Include a detailed visual description of what you want in the image. This can include the subject of the image, what the subject is doing and the background or setting.
