About Google Wallet
Google Wallet is a free payment service that makes online shopping quick and easy. You can use it to buy items from a wide range of online stores, including the Chrome Web Store. Here are some benefits to using Google Wallet:
- Save your billing and shipping information. You won't have to re-enter the same information each time you shop online. You can store multiple addresses and credit cards in Google Wallet.
- Track the status of your orders. All your purchases are recorded on the Purchase History page.
- Keep your information secure. Our fraud protection policy covers you against unauthorized purchases made through Google Wallet, and we don't share your purchase history or full credit card number with sellers.
Does it cost anything?
Google Wallet is absolutely free. You're only responsible for paying for your purchases, including taxes. There are no additional costs for purchasing through Google Wallet.
If you recently signed up for a Google Wallet account, you may notice a $1.00 transaction from Google, which is actually a pending authorization request between our billing system and the bank that issued your credit or debit card. This will be removed from your statement after a few days, and you won't be charged the extra $1.00.
