Images not displaying in my webmail client

Question

Since the last Chrome update, some images and links do not display in my webmail client.  I use mail.com webmail.  Images display fine when I open mail.com in Firefox or Edge.  I contacted mail.com, I have all the settings correct within the program.  I have Javascript and cookies enabled, I have cleared the cookies and cache several times, I cannot figure out why this is happening.  It happens with obviously good websites such as Amazon, AAA, or the AMA.  Here is a screenshot of an example from Amazon.  You can see the image placeholders where images did not load.
